Dear authors,

The University of Miami Law Review is currently accepting submissions for Issue 2 of Volume 80, which will be published in January 2026. This annual publication builds on the conversations explored at the prior year's Symposium. Our most recent Symposium, titled Navigating the Relationship Between the Administrative State and Emerging Technology, focused on the evolving regulatory frameworks around emerging technologies like digital assets and artificial intelligence (AI).

The Symposium featured the following four panels:

  • Panel I: SEC Regulation by Enforcement: Scope of Jurisdiction and Impact on Market
    Participants
  • Panel II: Potential Solutions to the Incongruence Between Decentralized Finance and
    Legacy Financial Regulation
  • Panel III: The Global Reach of U.S. Anti-Money Laundering & Sanctions Laws
  • Panel IV: Artificial Intelligence and Anticompetitive Behavior

If you are interested in contributing an article that engages with any of the themes discussed above, we invite you to submit through our Symposium Special Submission Track. Authors may submit their manuscripts, curriculum vitae (CV), and cover letter directly to our Senior Articles Editor, Quinten Smith, at UMLRSeniorArticlesEditor@law.miami.edu. The deadline to submit is Monday, June 30, 2025.

Please note that submission does not guarantee publication. Publication is dependent upon our review of your draft, after which an offer for publication may or may not be extended.

Thank you for your time and consideration. We look forward to reviewing your submissions soon!
